    Success Story with USYD

    GFP and The University of Sydney have collaborated on various projects focused on innovation and problem-solving. A notable example is the ‘Event E-Viewer’ initiative, which emerged from the university’s need to enhance workflow and streamline the delivery of ceremony programs.
    GFP played a key role in developing and expanding digital graduation programs, supporting the university’s efforts to optimise processes while advancing their mission to reduce the sector’s carbon footprint.

    Christine Fairchild, Graduation Manager, has said the following about this initiative:

    “We have already saved thousands of dollars in printing costs and hours of work handing out and collecting/destroying unwanted programs for our graduation ceremonies. The [Event E-Viewer] has made this transition simple. The hosting portal is the gold star solution to the delivery of digital programs. It is user-friendly, branded to our institution and can display previous, current, and upcoming programs.”

    “QUT has partnered with GFP to provide integrated end-to-end graduation services this year, working alongside our exceptional graduations team. This implementation encompasses student and guest ticketing, academic dress hire, student check-in for both ceremony and briefings, and photography services. Our initial large-scale collaboration with GFP included most of these key services, excluding ticketing, and the experience was outstanding. The GFP team recognises that graduation is a pivotal moment in a student’s academic journey, and shares our commitment to creating a warm, welcoming, and stress-free celebration of student achievements. We found them to be true partners, eager to negotiate and co-develop our approach to ensure a simple and secure experience for both students and guests.”

    “UWA and GFP have had a very strong and productive relationship over many years. GFP have a strong customer focus.
    Their staff have built a solid and productive relationship with our graduations team which is based on transparency, trust, expertise, and continuous innovation and improvement.

     UWA initially engaged the services of GFP for regalia and merchandise. The services provided to UWA now include tickets for graduands and guests and the digital order of proceedings.
    We are very pleased to be working with a partner in this space who embraces new technology, is always willing to work with us to deliver what is required for our changing technological and
    procedural needs and importantly continuously brings us innovation in current processes which has led to a superior student experience. The incorporation of regalia pictures on graduand tickets is one such example.
